WallpaperForge ("we", "our", "the app") is an AI wallpaper generator developed by Bit Expert. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it across the WallpaperForge desktop application (Windows) and the wallpaperforge.com website.

2. Data We Collect

Information you provide

• Text prompts you submit to generate wallpapers
• Style and aspect ratio preferences

Automatically collected

• Session ID — a random identifier generated locally on your device, not linked to any personal identity
• Usage metrics — daily generation count, feature usage events (e.g. "wallpaper set", "style selected")
• Error reports — crash and error data to help us fix bugs
• IP address — logged transiently by our servers for rate limiting; not stored long-term

What we do NOT collect

• Name, email, phone number, or any personal contact information
• Microsoft account details
• Location data
• Files on your device (other than wallpapers the app creates)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Generate wallpapers based on your prompts
• Cache generated images so similar prompts load instantly
• Enforce daily usage quotas and subscription tiers
• Improve the service through aggregated, anonymous usage analytics
• Diagnose and fix errors

4. Data Storage & Security

Generated wallpapers are stored on Cloudflare R2 (cloud storage). Metadata is stored in Cloudflare D1 (database). Both are protected by Cloudflare's infrastructure security. Locally, wallpapers are saved to your device's gallery folder and preferences are stored in local app settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except as required to operate the service (Cloudflare for hosting, Microsoft Store for subscription verification).

5. Subscriptions

WallpaperForge Pro subscriptions are managed entirely through the Microsoft Store. We verify your subscription status via the Microsoft Store API but do not access or store your payment information.

6. Your Prompt Content

Prompts you submit are used to generate images and may be cached to serve similar requests faster. Prompts are not publicly attributed to you. Cached images generated from prompts may be served to other users requesting similar content.

7. Children's Privacy

WallpaperForge is rated for all ages (3+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account or any personal details.

8. Data Retention

Cached wallpapers are retained indefinitely to improve the service. Usage metrics are aggregated and do not contain personal identifiers. You can reset your session ID at any time from the app's Settings page.

9. Your Rights

You can delete your locally stored wallpapers at any time through the app or by removing them from the gallery folder. To request deletion of server-side data associated with your session, contact us at the email below.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
